A short link does more than save characters. It gives a long destination a readable address and lets you correct that destination without reprinting your material.
Pick a readable path
Choose a short path that recalls the campaign or content. A meaningful path is easier to say, check and trust than a random string.
Organize with folders and tags
Folders group links for one project. Tags describe them across projects, for example by channel or campaign. This structure makes links easier to find in a shared workspace.
Add rules only when they help
A rule can select a destination by country, region, city or device. Always keep a valid general destination for visits that match no rule.
Measure without cookies
Lien counts clicks and, depending on the plan, reports country, language, device and referrer. A short link stores no cookie on the visitor’s device.
